Mount Storm Power Station reflected in Mount Storm Lake which is a 1200 acre man made cooling reservoir. The entire reservoir is recycled every day to cool the plant.

Beautiful light and colors. Really well done industrial image. It is kind of the color version of John Sexton’s “Place of Power” theme.

In the current terrorist chapter, I’m under the impression that photographing public installations can get you arrested. There are many new laws people are not completely aware of. Including me. Safety first. Thanks for posting.

Wow, who knew pollution was photogenic. The color palette works nicely as does the implied motion with the streaking gases from the two stacks. I also like the smooth water of the lake. It apparently is a nasty place with asbestos and the ash spewing from the stacks. I feel for the people who have to work and live in the area.
