Color for me, Sandy. I love the brown on the flanks of the front line of zebras and how it is balanced by the colors on the plain in the BG. And the overall contrast in the color shot is far more eye-catching. A wall-hanger!

I agree - the color version works best for me.

My vote too is for the colored version. I love this photo for the many contrasts of lights, sharpness and colors. I don’t know if it possible but I would cut the upper bit or at least the three animals totally out of focus. Beautiful Sandy.
