Lioness Hunting, Botswana
One never knows what is lurking in the grass… (Lions? black mambas?)
Jim spotted this lioness less than 100 feet from the truck
I’m sure she had her eye on the small group of impala, with young, meandering her way.

Nice image! The only thing I see, and from comments you have made on other images I am guessing you would want to leave it, but the two completely vertical pieces of grass cutting across her face bother me a tiny bit.

In general though, I love it!
