About This Image
Taking a back road outside of Cascadia, Oregon, I encountered this fantastic old car rotting away under the trees beside the road. I loved it!

Wow! Who wouldn’t love this!! Looks like ferns, ivy, blackberries and moss – couldn’t have been planted better!! This is a great subject for a once-a-year time lapse!
This only needs “Mr. Toad” in the driver’s seat… It’s well disguised and amazingly enough it looks like it’s in somebody’s back yard.
Visual Notes
This is a beautiful image. In addition to the car I love how the fern unfolds in front of it. I think that fern makes this image, or at least adds a lot to it. This is a well thought out image. I circled an area that’s drawing the eye away from the subjects.
[A1] too bright
Chris: What a great find and a fine capture. Like the old wreck I just posted I try to imagine this on the showroom floor and that at one time it was someone’s pride and joy. Although it may be a small point, I think toning down that area pointed out by @Igor_Doncov would make an already fine image even better. Nicely done.>=))>
Yes, who wouldn’t want this in their front yard?
Mr. Toad would be perfect! Too bad I don’t have the tech skills to add him in.
Thanks. I agree. I did tone that area down, but not enough I guess. Looks better.
A definite Northwest feel to this image, Chris. I see all kinds of yards around here with something like this (and several more) tucked away in the back yard. Front yards seem to favor rusty old tractors around here, though the yards are too well groomed around them for this challenge.
@Dennis_Plank Thanks for your comments.
