I love the coy look she’s giving him Steven. Good composition overall. Good details and colors in the birds. The BG is great. There are two suggestions you might want to try. 1. Remove the extra branches on the left side of the frame. and maybe give them a bit more space on the left(their right). I love the interaction between these birds. Nice image.

This is something like what I had in mind if you don’t mind cloning around a bit.

I like this one as presented. The branch on the LH side frames the couple nicely. Color and lighting are spot on…Jim

Thank you Ed

Thank you Jim

Hi Steve
Ho, the trials of married life. I would keep the branches, They add to the framing of your Bluebirds. The overall exposure, eye contact and feather detail are nice.

Thanks for comments, Peter.

Hi Steven, nice catch of this pair. Great to catch them pretty much in the same focal plane with good sharpness on each. I think you can leave the branch on the left for framing. Pleasing BG.

Hi Steven. Nice catch of this pair. Looks like you’ve got them trained to take mealworms which sure helps nesting success. I tend toward middle of the road on the crop. I like the way that left branch frames the birds but I do think you could crop up from the bottom to about where Ed suggested.
