Questions to guide your feedback

Very curious to your initial reaction. “Oasis” is a weak title that made some sense to me, but clearly this could have many interpretations. I have one in particular and I’m curious if anyone else comes up with it.

Image Description

Although the location is irrelevant, this was just captured last week at the Sleepy Hollow Cementery in NY. We were visiting to attend my niece’s wedding. Strolling around the grounds, in spring with all the trees in full spring blossom mode - it was a gorgeous day and stroll.

Of course cemeterys are not normally bright and cheery places… but all the trees in bloom really did cheer things up. No, we didn’t see the Headless Horseman..

Technical Details

Nikon Z7ii, z24-200mm @90mm. f/25 w/cpl 1/4s iso64. 2x multiple exposure with ICM movement on both exposures; one vertical motion, the other horizontal. combine in-camera using Dark mode.

Specific Feedback

In addition to regular comments on processing, suggestions on color/sat, etc., I’m really curious to learn what you see, if anything. Thank you for taking a look and commenting!

This is really cool, Lon. No clue what it is. The bottom half has the look of water reflections, but the “hair” has me baffled. That aside, I really like the feel of it.

Lon
Like this image. Must be an ME. Blend well together. Very pleasing to view.

Don’t know how I missed this before but glad I found it 'cause I think it’s super cool! And totally clueless how you did it, but it doesn’t matter! What an interesting mix of shapes, and colors. It evokes water and windblown trees.

Thank you @Dennis_Plank , @Mario_Cornacchione and @Diane_Miller for your comments

Definitely I thought the very bottom look like a reflection and water is certainly implied with that.
The “hair” is actually the spring blossoms on some unknown tree at the Sleepy Hollow cemetary in NY. Truth be told, the darker brown streaks in the center area - are actually headstones… Of course given the multiple in-camera exposure, anything is possible. thanks for commenting!
