Of Unicorns, Leprechauns and Rainbows +RAW and crop

Thank you @Ed_McGuirk. Perhaps it would have been better for me to post in one of the discussion forums, and I may still do that.

But here’s a resized copy of the RAW file with camera RAW settings set back to camera default. Aside from the small cloning in the lower portion, the big changes were in WB, luminosity and contrast. The biggest changes were from the LAB Color layer and the Selective Color layer. also the mid-tone Luminosity mask using Levels (TK Panel) to drop general luminosity by about 15pts.

Oh, here’s the RAW and thanks for asking!

Lon, your approach to adjusting WB and color worked wonderfully here. Again, thanks for sharing details of your approach with us, it’s greatly appreciated.

I am late to the party, but here are my thoughts.

I like cloning and tweaks in the cropped version, but prefer the original framing. I think the original framing is more dramatic and shows the glory of the rainbow.

Your mini-tutorial is excellent, and I am sure it will help others.

I think this image is one of your best, Lon!
