The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I’m fortunate to live within walking distance of a natural area which was alive today with birds singing, some of which were actually visible. I have a love-hate relationship with Merlin-for every bird I see, Merlin hears another two.

Any thoughts appreciated

Wow Allen, you are certainly catching the birds with a crisp in focus view. Nise group of shots from a morning walk. Good bokeh, good light. Very nice. Makes me wonder where this is? Smaller birds are fast and tend to hide in the canopy. Often they can be not-so-easy to catch.

Thanks for your comment, James. These were taken in the mid-Willamette Valley, in Oregon. The area I walk in is on a hill, so even if they’re up in a tree, sometimes I can be higher up, close to eye level.
Great walking area, Allen, and you’re doubly fortunate that so many were visible. Excellent work on all of these. An extremely productive morning.

Hi Allen
You have a great natural birding area, and these photographs are really nice.

A great selction of subjects! For #2-4, I think selective lightening of the birds would work well. The BG of the peewee is pretty bright, and might be subdued a little.
Excellent series!

Hi Allen,
A wonderful series and I like the peewee shot the best with the head turn. Wrens also have a lot of character and that one looks like it is getting ready to jump off the perch. Well done…Jim
