I like this composition and overall feel of the image. Forest scenes are very tricky, but you managed to find a bit of order in the chaos. The ferns running down the the side of the tree remind me of a zebra mane.
I was wondering if you took have an image with a wider aperture or if this is your only shot of the scene. I also feel like maybe you could tone down the saturation of the ferns running along the side of the tree.
