One of my favorite Bald Eagle photos of the year and strangely enough it isn’t the eagle that makes it special! It’s the dead wood and the reflections that make it unique.

This is fantastic! Such a great pose and reflection and I agree the log helps to tell a great story. The colours in the water are also wonderful. This is a piece of art I would love to see on a wall.
I do find the four brown spots in the water (logs/rocks) distracting as this has such a minimalist feel.

I can see why this is one of your favorites. I love the log too, but the Eagle with the reflection is a standout for me too. Beautiful. I agree with @Robena.Sirett that the four spots in the water are a little bit of a distraction.
