Orange-crowned Warbler

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Out in the open and a singing pose, more or less at eye level, couldn’t ask for much more, though wouldn’t mind if the leaf wasn’t behind the warbler.

Specific Feedback

Any thoughts appreciated.

Beautiful detail and head turn, Allen. The leaf behind doesn’t bother me a bit. Sweet image.

Very nice image Allen. The leaf is actually kind of cool there. I want just a bit more space around the bird in this one though. Great eye, great detail, nice BG.

Great shot. So nice to see the warblers return in the spring.

Oh what a great pose you caught. Well done. The leaf doesn’t bother me in the bg, but the sliced ones on the left look like they should be there whole. Wish I could hear that song. Warblers are such a treat in the spring. I love the little claws hanging below the branch.
