Very nice macro shot, John. You really got some nice detail in the spider, and the background makes him stand out nicely.

Thank you. I first found this spider in a corner of my yard, then it moved to some shrubs by my white house which gave me the nice background. I tried some supplemental lighting, but it did not fill in the shadows so I increased exposure by 2 stops to get detail in the spider.
