Ouch!

The Dismount:

Our camera club had an outing to a local rodeo on Saturday. The action photography was wonderful, though I don’t care for how they get the horses to buck so much and the nine-zilliion decibel barrage of country music drove me out after a couple of hours. Anyhow, I came away with a bunch of shots that I would never have taken otherwise.

This rider got bucked off but looked like he was going to nail an upright landing. Unfortunately, one of his spurs was caught in the loosely woven rope that they hang onto while riding. I’ll add a picture of his dismount.

Nice action shots. Composition and arrangement of the subjects within the frame are perfect. And by looking at these shots, I somehow feel the pain that rider experienced in a virtual sense. Well done…Jim
