A family of barred owls have appeared along the neighborhood lake trail recently. I took these shots yesterday evening after a heavy rain.

Baby Owls are so cute. This is a great series Allen. I love the looks you got from this little one. I also really like the soft pine needles as a backdrop. It shows how well hidden they can be if they want to. Love the fuzz and the feet!

Very, very cute images. You certainly got his attention for the images. Those are some serious claws. Yikes. Of the three, I believe I prefer the second image the best. I like the environmental nature of these. Well seen and captured.
