I’m not often around palms and when I am, I am in heaven. The curves, the sheen of the leaves, and, of course, the sun and blue skies! This one was for me mostly about the relationships of the shapes.

Pentax K-7, 1/800, f/10, 230mm, ISO400 converted to B&W in LR with adjustments to tone curves.

Wonderful abstract image of such a common plant, John. I think the black/white work well to simplify and emphasize the forms. Nicely seen.
