Our neighbor in Brookings has the most fabulous gardens, full of a thousand subjects!
There are bees everywhere, and I was fortunate to catch one just at the right spot.

Hi Sandy! This is a lovely Peony image, and that bee is excellent. Like you said, you got it at just the right spot. And the black background works too. Well done!

The light on the peony and the leaves is wonderful, Sandy. Since the bee gives the appearance of just passing by it doesn’t add too much for my taste. I like the dark background for isolating the subject.

Sandy: This is a lovely presentation. If I remember right Phil Hodgkins did some pretty marvelous stuff with peonies and this brought them to mind. The party crasher is a terrific complementary element. Well done. >=))>
