Question about Roads to Kelso Dunes

Hi Folks,
I’m thinking about a trip to Kelso Dunes while staying in Palm Springs for a few weeks, but I’d like some insight on Kelbaker Road and Kelso Dunes Rd . Obviously, I’ll monitor conditions and check alerts, but the basics of surface and grade would be helpful.

For perspective, I’ll be in a 4x4 Sprinter Based RV, but it’s a long one—Winnebago Era at 24’.

I’ve done Alabama Hills and Utah and Yosemite in this thing, and it’s a dually with decent clearance , but big-rock roads are dicey for tires and significant dips are tricky given its length.

Is Kelbaker Rd paved? Dirt? gravel? Kelso Dunes Rd looks to be dirt, but I’m wondering about the Cottonwood Wash area.

Any insider knowledge would be fab,
ML

I may have found my answer on a birding site
For those curious

That said, still looking for tips if you are familiar with the area.

I have driven through there on the way to Death Valley. I’m really looking forward to seeing your work.
