Description
Not a particularly rare bird, theoretically, but one we just started getting to visit on rare occasions last year. I’ve seen this male a couple of times the last week and it’s been on the birdbath both times. I believe the Douglas Firs on the edge of the gravel pit that borders the back of our property have finally gotten large enough to attract this species. They were logged a year or two before my wife and her Ex bought the property in 1993 and they’re starting to get some reasonable stature and produce lots of cones. We’re probably the nearest source of water for them.
Specific Feedback
I tried to get the bird bath straight-did I come close? Composition? Also, there was a support for a perch for incoming birds that crossed the tail-any cloning anomalies I missed.
