Costa Rica
This cooperative fellow was scampering up and down the tree trunk and stopped just about at eye level. I liked the diagonal branch that broke up the monotony of the trunk.

A handsome woodpecker giving us a great look. Are the white specs in the BG rain drops? I like this composition and the nice profile view of the bird. Details seem just slightly muted on the head and primary wing. Still a nice catch.
