Findhorn, Moray, Scotland
This was probably the finest moment from my first lock down sunrise which occurred just after 4.15am at Findhorn looking towards Burghead. The sun had just barely risen above a lifting band of haar, (sea mist) to those not particularly used to the Scottish vernacular. The sky flared amber, the sunrise was a scarlet ball and the thinly scattered high clouds glowed orange, twas gorgeous with the sea lapping at the characteristically recognisable silhouette of a Findhorn break water, rolling over high tide shingle. It’s good to be back!
