This red-tailed hawk was super intent on something in this pile of dead branches and leaves. It let me within 10 meters of it and continue to take pictures.; and it definitely knew I was there. I only saw the hawk when I heard some ducks make alarm noises

A beautiful environmental portrait of this hawk Eduard. Although I see plenty of them in my area its always a treat to see a sharp photo. Love the dead on look he’s giving you too…friend or foe? He stands out well against the similarly colored background too.

Gorgeous, with a lovely color-matching BG!! On the first, I’d burn down the brighter leaves in the LR corner and clone out the stick coming out of his beak. Same with the stick coming out of his head to the right in the second.
