I think they both have some pro’s and con’s.
The B&W image clearly creates better texture and contrast in the water and ice. The shapes in the water and ice just pop more in the B&W image. The color image looks like it has a slight green cast in the water and ice, maybe from glacial silt? I did a rework where I reduced green and I think this creates more contrast and texture in the water and ice, even if the color is not true to the scene.
On the other hand, the sky in the B&W image is not as interesting to me as it is in the color image. In the B&W sky, the luminosity is getting pretty bright in the ULC, I might try recovering that slightly.
If asked to choose, I would go with the B&W.
