River Otter with Surfacing Sibling

Here’s another look at the River Otters I saw frolicking in an irrigation canal in early December in Southwest Washington. There were three of them. They are really fun to watch. This one was looking for its sibling which you can see at the moment of surfacing through the water bubbles. Very cute!

The surfacing otter really balances this composition, David. The tongue is great!

I like the reflection & the tongue, but busy BG is reducing the impact.
