The other day I got absorbed in some of the rock formations in the Phoenix Mountains. This was one of the shots I took.

ISO 100, 244mm, f/11, 1/125th sec.

This is very beautiful. I can’t think of a way to improve this. Wonderful image.

Maybe crop off that orange wedge on the far left. Not a biggie. In fact that messes up the comp.

You rocked this, pun intended. :laughing: All kidding aside the soft light is gorgeous and has created some nice shadows giving this image a sense of depth while accentuating all the textures and details in the rock face. This also has a wonderful sense of flow with the diagonals. No suggestions from me as this is nicely done.

Michael, Ed, thanks. Ed, I think that sense of depth is why this one works and a lot of my rock photos don’t.
