A great deal of the English countryside is marked by gently rolling hills. This view is of an old country house estate in Cheshire. On this particular, pretty cloudy day I enjoyed watching as the sun moved across the landscape.

Another of your peaceful images of the English countryside. I think that in this one you have captured very well the contrast between the mostly cloudy areas and the few sunny patches., and again a strong sense of spring.

Ian, another beautiful look at the UK countryside. The various shades of green/yellow are very inviting, as is the bit of direct sun, middle left. The mix of blue and clouds also speak of fine weather.
