Taken this summer before the hummingbird migration. Five flash set up. Background is a photo print. Sugar water applied to center of flower.

Hi Allen,

You snagged a good pose for this hummingbird. You could increase the shadows on the hummingbird slightly to bring out more depth to the bird. Other than that minor suggestion, a good shot indeed!..Jim

Wow. I really like what you’ve captured here. Great look at the hummer and an attractive flower and a good choice of background. One thought might be a slight CCW rotation-the image seems pretty centered with the horizontal hummer and vertical flower-but, of course, that’s personal taste.
