Serval

After spotting the Pangolin we had another touch of luck a Serval leaping partially clear of the extremely long grass in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Nice documentary image with ecxellent sharpness in the Serval, Ken. It really shows off the relatively massive hindquarters of this species. From an artistic perspective, it would have been more powerful if it were on the way up instead of coming down. Some light in the eyes would have been nice as well, but you take what they give you and you did very well with what the cat provided.

I wonder how you managed to lock focus on the Serval in the tall grass but also got a clear face. Quite a dynamic image.

This was just luck!
