Lighting was difficult on this one, but it shows the typical environment of the Wrentit and why it’s hard to get a clear shot of one-they’re always skulking in the underbrush.

The lighting was certainly difficult, Allen, but I like this nonetheless. I’ve always liked half hidden bird images, since that’s the way we see them. As long as the eye is showing, they seem to work well. Nicely caught.

Typical wrentit behavior. Tough light, but I do like the half-hidden comp.
