Full frame with those pixels could have some fun crops… A square of the eyeball and beak could look good…
I would erase as many highlights as possible.

A nice tight portrait. I like how you lined up the tip of the beak with the bg highlight. I like Dan’s idea of a erasing the highlights. And maybe a bit of sharpening??

Lots of cool detail in this image, David. The highlights don’t bother me.

A nice detailed look at the head of a snow goose-really shows off the “grin patch”. I could see toning down the highlighted area around the tip of the beak, but otherwise I like the background.
