The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I bought a new lens, Canon 200-800mm, and tried it out in my backyard setup yesterday. The day was quite overcast but I still had enough light for some shots on a tripod. BG is the hill in my backyard with fallen leaves. Birds attracted by peanuts and sunflower seeds.
Specific Feedback
My setup is a fairly big rock I found in the yard on top of a large piece of bark. Any comments on the rock, bark, or BG?
Technical Details

Beautiful shots of all three of these birds, Allen. I like that lichen covered rock as a perch-it works very well as does the bark perch in the first. My only minor it is that it looks (and it might be something else) like there’s a dab of peanut butter sticking up from behind the rock in both of those images. It’s particularly apparent in the third where it’s in focus.
Hi Allen
You can’t go wrong will photographs of these three birds. To me the brown spots look like a seed of some sort. I will be interested in evaluation of the 200-800mm (320-1280mm) lens.

I like the cardinal the best–I’ve never got a clean shot of these guys. Others images are nicely composed too and the fake PB van easily be removed if so desired. Well done…Jim
Wow, 3 really excellent images! Great rock with all that cool lichen! The perch for the cardinal is also neat. Exquisite detail in every image, and great BG. This is how it’s done!
