The shoreline offers endless treasures that don’t even require picking up shells. Although I end up deleting many of these sort of sand portraits, some, like this, continue to engage me long after—even if the lines are not exactly parallel.

That’s it John, I just had to hit Follow on your profile so I don’t keep missing your small scenes! Love the play of lines and color here. I wonder if the weight of the sand grains has anything to do with the overall pattern the water creates. I wish it was a tad sharper, especially the bit of seaweed. Stop deleting and start sharing! I miss the ocean and this is a nice reminder.
