Ripples

When I saw the challenge I started to think what image do I have that contains parallel lines. This one popped into my head. I was sitting on the bank of Todd Lake just daydreaming when I realized that this might make an interesting image. Now, everything is moving so I didn’t see the image I took but I figured if I used a fast shutter speed I would capture this pattern of light and dark lines.

This was shot with a Canon 6D about 6 years ago. With a tripod.

Another that fell through the cracks for me, Igor.

I like the very stark nature of this despite there being a lot going on. The plants are nicely framed and I get a powerful sense of movement. Of wind. Of change. I like that you left it in color, too. The little bit of green and yellow gives a lot of dimension and sense of place.
