Southern Ground Hornbills

Here’s a photo of a pair of hornbills as they walked around with prey in their bills. The bird on the left has captured a lizard. The bird on the right also has something, but is too small to distinguish. We stopped for quite a while to watch these birds hoping to catch the prey being tossed in the air, but they just continued to walk around. Cropped to about 50% of the original.

Fun. A nice look at this pair.

A nice composition and good job on the exposure of the dark plumage, Richard. It looks like a parade. No nits I can think of. A fine image with interesting behavior.
