Southern Magnolia

Taken at Longwood gardens in PA. Love the beauty of the southern magnolias. Rarely survive in the NE.

Wonderful! The tonalities in the whites are so elegant!

Not exactly a nit, but I wonder about some crop from the left since the flower is subtly pointing to the right.

Oh wow…more lickable light! So creamy and nuanced. Masterful handling of the deep greens and the light petals. Not sure about how close to cut it on the left if you decide to crop there - I like the whole leaf being in the frame, but agree that a bit more room on the right would frame this a little better. On the whole though, wow, this is fab.

Wow, just plain wow! That’s beautiful. It’s dramatic, but soft and delicate. The surrounding leaves are dark wrapping the flower in a gentle wreath of luscious shadows.

Namaste

Love the clarity and the accurate colors. Beautiful composition! A work of art.

Wow, that is really nice, Patricia.

This is gorgeous. Can help but wonder if there’s a monochrome image lurking here as well.
