What artistic feedback would you like if any? I wonder about my cropping choice. To my eye this was the best cutting of the subject, I thought. What say you?

Good job, Dave. I keep trying for one of these at my blind, but they’re incredibly skittish for me. This is sweet. It’s a slightly different head turn than we normally see and I like that.
Very good pose, head turn, and plumage detail. I do find the plat on the left side of the frame to be somewhat distracting. While I don’t know if you can get rid of all of it with the clone tool you could certainly decrease the impact of all those sharp leaves.
I like the pose. Good detail. I tend to agree with David’s thoughts on the needles.
