@Allen_Brooks - This is really nice! The stellars is great, but what makes this image for me is the mossy perch and the forest background. Feels ethereal. Very nicely captured.

Excellent pose, head turn,detail and composition. I agree the mossy perch makes this work. DOF is perfect. Great job for iso 6000.

I’ve never seen one of these before. What a beautiful bird! Those colors are like neon! Hats off to you for getting down low, eye-level, to this guy. Awesome soft background. Congrats on this keeper!
