I am unsure if that is a strong image. Are there distracting elements? Is it too busy?

This is an awe inspiring spectacle Natasha. There are no distracting elements as the huge flock is the main element. It is not too busy for the same reason. The light and colors are really nice.

Hi Natalia, what a cool image! Love the layering in this image with the birds wading and flying above with the mountains in the background. Colors look good too. Nice sharpness throughout on the birds. Well seen and taken.

Hi Natalia. Welcome to NPN and the Avian forum. I like this image, but flock shots are always very difficult as stand-alone images because it’s so difficult to create a focal point to draw people’s eye into the image. This one works because flamingos are so inherently cool and the background is nice without being unduly distracting.

Though it doesn’t work all that well on social media, my personal taste for shots like this is to use a wide lens and then crop to a pano presentation.

That’s a good point about the wide lens. will definitely bring one along next time.
