Very interesting, Armin. I do like the composition with the wavy shoreline moving through the frame. The flamingos are always a cool sight and the way they’re all so uniformly flying with wings spread is special.

This is cool. I love the three dimensional quality of it. I guess there are two ways to think about the flamingoes that are half in and half out of the frame: One is that the flamingoes go on for ever. The other is that they draw the eye. The little one in the top right and a couple of the perfect halves along the top edge distract a little. I think it’s their location in the frame, as the ones flying out of the frame on the left add to the sense of wall-to-wall flamingoes.
Great sense of scale though, and love the shoreline and shadows.
