Hi, Balan - It’s nice to see someone else using a long lens for landscape work. I’ve got just one critique and that is the OOF plants(?) in the foreground. The way you lined up the sun with those palm trees is fantastic but what I really enjoy is the graceful curve created by birds flying above the sun. This is very cool!
It’s nice to see a different image on this forum. The concept of the dark silhouettes before a red disc is very arresting. There is definitely a sense of the tropics here. You can almost sense the heat and humidity. Although mornings are usually the most refreshing part of the day there. I can see why you included the plants at the bottom even though they are murky. Cropping them out would simplify things.

I have been using my 100-400 more and more over the last year for a lot of my landscapes so this is right up my alley. You captured a wonderful mood with the sun rising/setting behind the trees. I hope you keep using the 400 as it can provide a different perspective of the landscape. My only suggestion would be to remove those OOF bushes poking up from the bottom. Nicely done.
I really like how you framed the sun behind those two large trees. The birds are a nice added touch. I would echo the others about the oof bushes/trees at the bottom. There’s also a vertical smudge along the LS at the tree line that I would either darken or clone out. As it is, it looks gray compared to the silhouetted trees. Nice work and use of your long lens.
A 400mm is on my wish list, and this is a great example of why. I love the tropical feel and rich color; it feels very peaceful. Enough said on the bottom branches, the rest is beautiful.
Balan, this is very nicely peaceful as well as warm and inviting. I like the oof bits along the bottom, but would clone out the few that touch the frame without any stem. Those bits add nicely to the sense of being there.
