A great shot of a majestic animal. You have controlled the tones well given the bright sunlight from the left hand side, I see shadow detail and no blown highlights. The dark sky adds to the mood and the OOF acacias in the background help to tell us where we are.
Nice capture of the little bird to add interest as well.

Wonderful portrait of this magnificent animal! The composition is wonderful as are the tonalities – perfect for B/W. The little bird is the cherry on a cupcake.

He looks like a poster child for neck strain.

Very cool and that is a very massive elephant. The shadows do a good job of setting the mood and 3D appearance of the comp Awesome…Jim

Very nice subject, and pose. Love the B&W look. If it were mine, I’d take a look at cloning out the dark strip at the top, though.

Thank you so much for your kind words :folded_hands:
@Dave_Douglass the dark strip on the top is storm cloud, won’t prefer to change it.

Elephants have a lot of weight to carry so I’m glad they have some tricks to relax a bit as well
Nice shot!

another great image with the elephant. The curl in his trunk really stands out and of course the B&W and that Tone really works

What a magnificent animal! Perfect for B&W. A trunk that long must make life difficult sometimes, but he is clearly healthy and living well. Can they estimate how old some of these huge old tuskers are?

I’ve no idea about this one but Craig is 52 years old.

Wonderful image of a wonderful animal. The black and white adjustment is perfect.
