Description

Super tusker is the one, whose one tusk weighs more than 100 pounds.
Having photographed Asian elephants for more than 35 years, I went to Amboselli with the aim to photograph this super tusker Craig.
“As I stand next to Craig, I’m overwhelmed with a sense of my own smallness and insignificance. The sheer size and presence makes me feel like a mere speck in the vastness ofnatural world.”

Jagdeep, this is another stunning elephant image. The detail in the skin is superb, as well as the pose and view of those tusks. A marvelous sky and nice greenery complete this exceptional portrait.

I love this photo. The detail, including in Craig’s eyes, is wonderful and I love how the colors seem to “pop.” I also like the composition, and the fact that he is place a bit off center. Great photo!
