A beautiful photo of a beautiful bird. You are really very good at cleaning the image from all the noise with your ISO 1250, I never go over ISO 560.

What a cool pose. Love all of its colors. Kestrels are shy and hard to get anywhere near. This is a prize.

A fun image, Sandy. The head turn is a treat and this pose shows off the back plumage nicely.

Gigi, the A1 has good noise suppression, and DxO Pure Raw handles ISO’s of 12-16,000 quite well.

Hi Sandy, such a tough bird to catch. I have tried with zero success. Glad you got this one. Love seeing the backside plumage so well. Critical focus seems to be on tail area rather on eye. Lovely shot.
