I usually clean things up before I shoot, but I couldn’t get up to this teasel, so I’m embracing the webs!

I love the teasel with the golden sky behind it, Sandy. The out of focus teasel and gray bottom don’t do much for me and I wish there had been a way for you to get a little lower and enough to one side to get a clear shot of the teasel head and most of the stem against that sky without the out of focus intruder.

These things are always such inviting targets and for me there always something in the way. Gorgeous light in any case.

Yup another photobomb. Normally I like an Out-of-focus echo, which is my term for this kind of technique, but in this case it detracts from what might have been a carefully planned image. The webs don’t have the same effect for me. The second flower just looks like a mistake. Classic look though of all that spikiness. Dennis hit it - maybe lower so there is more color, only one flower and a bolder presentation.

Wow @SandyR-B ! Nice work on the edit. I love those plants despite their invasive status here in Montana. I love the color gradient in the background too.
