This Black Swan was photographed at a city park we stopped at in Florida. Thank you for stopping by.

Very nice, Peter. The feather detail in the first is awesome and I love the shapes of the feathers on the rear end of the second image. I think I’d crop the second one tightly to accent that feature and minimize the water which I don’t think adds much of anything to the image.
I like the first shot more than the second Peter, the green adds some interest/context. In the second water distracts me as it has such a strong contrast with the swan.
I would be tempted to try an extreme crop into the first image to create an image of mainly the head, beak and eye. That might look interesting

The first image is awesome, Peter, love the detail you captured here. I think I prefer seeing the entire bird over the cropped version. The crop works on the second bird.
I think that both crops work well. … particularly the first one if you don’t mind me saying.

Really late to the party Peter! Black Swans are very difficult to make into appealing photographs because of their awkward shape, I think you have done a fine effort with these images. You’ve captured the lovely curly tail feathers. I wonder were there two brids?
