Ronald, the colored leaves are striking. I also like the presence of the dark trunk and how it contrasts with the leaves even as it’s shape opens up into the swatch of leaves. As something to try (may or may not be an improvement), I’d suggest a modest dodging of the lighter tones in the trunk to give it a bit more separation from the background.
