Specific Feedback
The first of these three images I posted was a bit light overall, and I’ve tried to move this one darker. Does the balance seem correct? Would you recommend darker?
All thoughts and comments appreciated!

Another fine image, John. You’ll probably get varying opinions about the contrast, but it all comes down to personal taste. There’s no right or wrong. Personally, I prefer a slight more contrast.
John,
You saved the best for last; at least IMO. I love the way the back peak seems to be asserting it’s dominance as it rises out of the fog and mist. For my tastes the fog is perfect as it sets the mood while letting the viewer get a nice glimpse of the trees along the diagonal ridgelines. This has a wonderful range of tones and looks perfect to me, so I would not go any darker.
This is a very beautiful and peaceful image! I absolutely love the different layers separated by the moody clouds. The tones are just right in my opinion and I don’t think that I would change a thing. Really nicely done!
I’m with Michael here, another amazing image. In my opinion the best of the bunch! I also like it slightly darker. I think it helps accentuate the highlights in the back and the fog. Well done!
Great image John !!! Works great in black and white.!!! You could go a little more contrast in my opinion. In photoshop , you can burn and dodge a few things if you want to. A slight vignette could bring the eyes to the center … BUT this is a powerful image and i can feel the vibe you have presented. Outstanding !!!
