The Cold Flame

Watching the weather move in one afternoon on Washington State’s Whidbey Island, looking out along the Strait of Juan de Fuca toward the Pacific Ocean and the storm that settled over the region later that day. I’m glad I was already on the beach with the camera and the right lens for this shot mounted when this formation appeared, as it was very dynamic and was gone minutes later.

Any and all feedback welcome and appreciated!

Jim, the “flow” in the sky with all of the darkness leading to the bright area looks great. Your emphasis on the sky is well done. What a fun sky/storm to watch.

Real nice stormy sky. I might l prefer with just a little less foreground water, but looks good as presented.
