The Few Left

Cropped out tree on left

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I was hoping to post this in last week’s bare tree challenge, but I kept getting sidetracked. I found this while out one afternoon walking through a few parking lots. I kept trying to frame up the one leaf so it was separated from the bare branches in the background tree. I like the curve of the line of the main branch.

Specific Feedback

I have two version where the tree on the left is in or cropped out. I think I can ground the image and keep the eye in the frame. Or is it more of a distraction? Any ideas are welcome.

Great tones, I prefer the one with the tree on the left cropped out, keeps the focus on the leaves. Nice one Patrick!
