The last breath of the sun

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

The last loving warm caress of the sun to the natural and builded world of the earth that lives thanks to it.

Specific Feedback

I mainly worked on the contrasts of light tones and color shades but trying to follow their natural tints and trends. Is this evident in the posted image?

Technical Details

Giuseppe, a lovely image but in the resolution as posted its hard to give critique.

Excuse me Mark but this is the resolution that I use for almost my photos posted. Help me to understand.

It’s amazing how much you’ve done with this one subject. And they’re all different. This has an out of this world look about it. The dark area at the bottom is fairly large. Yet in a way it defines the image. So I don’t think making it smaller is a good idea. You could try to bring out more information out of it by raising the lighter tones a bit but I don’t know how that would affect the overall mood.

When I download the image and open in PS it appears quite pixelated when I zoom in at say 50%. I’m wondering something is happening in the conversion to jpg?

Mark you are perfectly right. In Photoshop I checked the levels of the photo and I have deleted one of them that I messed up. I cant say what I did.
I have re-posted the photo that looks much better for me. Thank you so much.
