Thanks, @Ed_Lowe and @Jerry_Austin ! Although it gets quite dark during a total lunar eclipse, only a few stars were visible and only registered as tiny dots on the “daylight camera”, which was the best choice for the moon. I’m now feeling that the stars are a bit too prominent, even after reducing them from my first version.
Ed, it is on the wall next to the 2017 solar eclipse, both 26x40 metal prints. Got to quit this stuff – I’m out of wall space!
Hear that sound? That’s my jaw dropping . I love Astronomy and I’ve dabbled a bit with astrophotography, but never made anything I’d consider worthwhile - this is a fabulous piece of work Diane .
Thanks, @godfrey , @Preston_Birdwell and @Don_Peters ! Truth be told, the hardest part of this stuff is getting clear, dark nights when the object is in the sky, and the higher the better!
